Close Quarters Combatives - Force on Force

Knife vs. Gun & Knife

If you carry a knife as a primary or secondary means of protection, you need to know if your skills are close to where they need to be in order to defend yourself. And, there is no better way to test those skills without being in an actual life threatening confrontation than participating in a force on force program such as this.

This course will begin by dealing with a single threat that has a knife or a gun and you are unarmed. From there you will move on to dealing with multiple threats with various weapons while you are unarmed. After that, you will learn how to properly deploy your knife as a self-defense tool. The course will include a lecture on mindset, understanding the attackers’ cues, and the use of verbal judo for attempting to de-escalate the situation as well as getting the attacker’s to comply with your commands. Students will experience the “Tueller drill” defending them selves with a knife. Since situations dictate strategies, and strategy dictates tactics, your direction of movement will be totally dependent upon your situation and potential escape route. In addition, you will learn defensive “stances” that work in real life encounters. Knowing how and when to deploy your knife into the situation is extremely important. Correct targeting in eliminating the threats ability to continue on the fight and present any further danger to you and/or your loved ones. Learn when to be aggressive and defensive.

Once you experience this course, you will truly understand the need for the Advanced FOF course!!! This course is an eye opener for most people.

Gun vs. Gun & Knife Force on Force Level

This course is great for anyone who intends on using their gun for self-defense purposes for home defense or while out and about. We recommend that you take this course prior to the Advanced Force on Force course simply because there are things that are taught in this course that we use as a foundation for the Advanced Force on Force course.

Of course, the class begins with a lecture on mindset, understanding the attacker’s cues, and the use of verbal judo to de-escalate the situation or to attempt to get the attacker(s) to comply with your commands. Since situations dictate strategies, and strategy dictates tactics, your direction of movement will be totally dependent upon your situation and potential escape route. In addition, you will learn defensive “stances” that work in real life encounters. Students will experience the Tueller drill against another human being who is attacking you. In addition, students will learn the three types of combat draw strokes and how to implement the gun into the fight in a realistic manner. Most encounters take place within 0-6 feet so obtaining a two handed shooting stance is not a realistic option or a good option in most cases. Students will learn when to be offensive and defensive. Students will be placed in several different life threatening situations in which they will respond to a single or multiple threats with a gun or knife.

Gun vs. Gun & Knife Advanced Force on Force Level I

Our Advanced Force on Force course is for those who are looking to take their training to the next level. No other training will prepare you for a life threatening situation like this one!!! The Advanced FOF course is a high energy course. You will leave this course more confident than ever before in your abilities to deal with a life threatening situation.

The Advanced Force on Force course begins with learning how to deal with over a dozen life threatening situations unarmed against armed single and multiple threats armed with guns and knives. Students will then deal with the same situations implementing their handgun into the equation. Building from the fundamentals in the Level I course, you will be required to deal with them using verbal commands and/or using unarmed or lethal force. Students will be required to justify their response of using non lethal or lethal force during the scenarios. You will learn how to fall to the ground safely and fight from the ground and get back up. You will also learn proper methods for scanning the area for additional threats. Drawing your gun in any of these situations may or may not be an option! This is exactly why our training excels over others because we teach you how to handle the situation with or without using your gun.

WARNING!!! You WILL be exhausted after leaving this course! It is adrenaline charged and relatively physical. Those with medical conditions should consult their physician before attending this course!!! Please don’t misunderstand what we are saying. If you have physical limitations such as bad knees, etc., you will probably be alright. We are just worried about someone who has heart conditions, etc. This is as realistic as it gets! So, you MAY get hurt during this course. We make no promises either way. Hey, you wanted realistic training-therefore we MUST oblige you because that is ALL that we offer! If you want sugar coated stuff, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! This is LIFE SAVING material!

Why do we use Airsoft as opposed to Simunitions? Simply put, because of the price!!! Airsoft is MUCH less expensive than Simunitions or UTM. Our goal is to keep the training as affordable as possible, so in order to do that, Airsoft is the best solution.

Home Defense Force on Force Level I

This course is designed for those who have taken our home defense course. However, if you have not taken our home defense course, your knowledge and abilities will be put to the test! There is no better time to hone your skills than through this force on force scenario training!

You will engage one or more threats in a dwelling in the three of the following scenarios.

1. Hear a noise in the middle of the night.
2. Come home and find someone has invaded your home and there is a loved one in the home and you know that you need to get in there and do something.
3. You come home and there are no obvious signs of intruders and all of a sudden you are face to face with an intruder(s).

In any of the three situations, you will encounter them all in low light situations!

This course is NOT going to cover the things that we do during our Home Defense course in the setup of your home, four layers of home defense, etc. We will review methods for slicing the pie, tactical light usage, and verbal commands. The focus of this course is to refine your tactics and methods for searching your home.
