Force On Force

Knife vs. Gun & Knife

If you carry a knife as a primary or secondary means of protection, you need to know if your skills are close to where they need to be in order to defend yourself. And, there is no better way to test those skills without being in an actual life threatening confrontation than participating in a force on force program such as this.

This course will begin by dealing with a single threat that has a knife or a gun and you are unarmed. From there you will move on to dealing with multiple threats with various weapons while you are unarmed. After that, you will learn how to properly deploy your knife as a self-defense tool. The course will include a lecture on mindset, understanding the attackers’ cues, and the use of verbal judo for attempting to de-escalate the situation as well as getting the attacker’s to comply with your commands. Students will experience the “Tueller drill” defending them selves with a knife. Since situations dictate strategies, and strategy dictates tactics, your direction of movement will be totally dependent upon your situation and potential escape route. In addition, you will learn defensive “stances” that work in real life encounters. Knowing how and when to deploy your knife into the situation is extremely important. Correct targeting in eliminating the threats ability to continue on the fight and present any further danger to you and/or your loved ones. Learn when to be aggressive and defensive.

Once you experience this course, you will truly understand the need for the Advanced FOF course!!! This course is an eye opener for most people.

What you will need for this course:

Open mind
5-10 white inexpensive T-shirts because you will be getting marked up.

Throat protector (a rolled up bandana will probably do just fine. There are throat protectors specifically designed for paintball training that are only about $10)
Hydration
Pen and paper

This is a one day course and costs $100. Course length is approximately 8-9 hours.

Suggested courses to take prior to this course is Defensive Knife Level I.

Gun vs. Gun & Knife Force on Force Level 1

This course is great for anyone who intends on using their gun for self-defense purposes for home defense or while out and about. We recommend that you take this course prior to the Advanced Force on Force course simply because there are things that are taught in this course that we use as a foundation for the Advanced Force on Force course.

Of course, the class begins with a lecture on mindset, understanding the attacker’s cues, and the use of verbal judo to de-escalate the situation or to attempt to get the attacker(s) to comply with your commands. Since situations dictate strategies, and strategy dictates tactics, your direction of movement will be totally dependent upon your situation and potential escape route. In addition, you will learn defensive “stances” that work in real life encounters. Students will experience the Tueller drill against another human being who is attacking you. In addition, students will learn the three types of combat draw strokes and how to implement the gun into the fight in a realistic manner. Most encounters take place within 0-6 feet so obtaining a two handed shooting stance is not a realistic option or a good option in most cases. Students will learn when to be "offensive" and defensive. Students will be placed in several different life threatening situations in which they will respond to a single or multiple threats with a gun or knife.
