Ohio CCW Training

Ladies and Gentlemen: Are you thinking about getting your license to carry concealed in Ohio? The staff at Innovative Tactical Concepts are professional instructors who can help you achieve this goal.

Ladies, do you work odd hours? Do you have children in activities that cause you to come home late? Does your husband or significant other travel causing him to be gone several days a week? Do you worry about yours and your family’s safety? Would you like to learn how to safely hand and shoot a gun?

Gentlemen, do you worry about your wife or significant other’s safety, walking to her car after work, or in a store’s parking lot? Do you own a gun? Would you life your wife/significant other learn to shoot your gun or one of her own?

We find that many of our students do not have much range time in before taking our courses. So, if you do not shoot much or have not shot at all, we will make you feel very comfortable in our course. The class is 12 hours long (required by the state of Ohio—10 hours of classroom and 2 hours minimum of range time). Our course exceeds the state requirements! We keep our classes small (normally 6-10 people) so that you receive individual instruction and the best quality training possible.

This course will be taught at Wolf Creek Rod and Gun Club, 6700 Derby Rd., Dayton, OH, 45418.

• Mindset necessary for proper concealed carry.
• Firearms functioning and operation.
• How to deal with the three basic types of firearm malfunctions.
• Safe storage of firearms in the home.
• Ammunition handling and storage.
• Shooting Stances
• Handgun selection
• Drawing from concealment.
• Caliber mythes
• Holster selection
• Carry Modes
• Proper sight alignment.
• How to properly buy a handgun
• Live fire experience
• And much more…

What you will need for the course.
• Valid picture ID
• Safe working handgun (do not bring any guns in the classroom!).
• A minimum of 100 rounds of factory ammunition.
• Eye and ear protection.
• Lunch and hydration
• Holster

We shoot rain or shine!

This is a one day course and costs a mere $125 per person. Why are we more expensive than others offering the Ohio CCW training? First of all, as a general rule you get what you pay for. Simply put, if you pay less then you should expect less!

Secondly, we are among some of the leading experts in the area of concealed carry. In fact, we have been featured in the April 2008 Issue of SWAT Magazine regarding our concealed carry training. In addition, we have had two DVD reviews on USCCA (US Concealed Carry Associations) website regarding the topic of concealed carry.

Lastly, students will receive a copy of our Handgun (The Basics) DVD which is a $30 value by itself. During the 12 hour course we will provide you with a lot of information and you may very well forget a lot of what was taught. By having a DVD to review you will be able to recall a number of things you were taught and much more.
