| OHIO CCW FAQ's | |||
| Q.Why should I take this course over others offering the same course? | |||
| A.
We are professionals who offer high caliber training as opposed to someone
who does the training on the side. We live and breathe self-defense training and we know what works and what does not work in the real world. Our staff has over 50 years of combined firearms and unarmed combatives training. Our Advanced Pistol Fighting course was featured in the April 2008 issue of SWAT Magazine. In addition, we have two DVD’s out regarding the topic of Concealed Carry. Simply put, you are receiving professional training at an affordable price! |
|||
| Q. Why is your course more expensive than others? | |||
| A.
Simply put, you get what you pay for. If you pay less than $100 for the
course, then more than likely you are going to be getting poor quality training. We try to keep our training at a reasonable price, and we provide you with more information than other instructors. |
|||
| Q.Will I be ready for a life threatening situation when I leave the course? | |||
| A.
No. This course is simply a basic course that covers the fundamentals
of proper gun handling and safety skills. In no way shape or form does this course begin to teach you the skills and mindset necessary to deal with a life threatening situation. |
|||
| Q. What does the course cover? | |||
| A.
The Ohio CCW course covers everything required by the State of Ohio in
order for you to obtain your CCW permit. Law requires 10 hours of classroom time with 2 hours of range time totaling 12 hours of training. However, this course goes above and beyond what the State requires us to teach. You will get your money’s worth and then some! |
|||
| Q. Is this a one day or two day course? | |||
| A. Typically we do it all in one day. | |||
| Q. What are the hours and days of the course? | |||
| A. The first and second Sunday of each month. Class begins promptly at 7am and will go until 7pm. | |||
| Q. Will I need advanced training after taking the Ohio CCW course? | |||
| A. Yes. That is, if you want to truly stand a chance of surviving a life or death confrontation. | |||
| Q. What course do you recommend after taking this course? | |||
| A. Our Advanced Pistol Fighting course is a good course to attend after taking the basics. | |||

in the case it came in when you bought it. If you do not have a case, then place it in a holster. |
|||

| A. Yes. (Depending upon the caliber you shoot, ammo surcharges may apply) | |||

to get better training but I have spent a good amount of money getting the CCW training and I don’t want to take the course again and risk the same thing happening again. |
|||
| A.
No worries! If you can provide a training certificate for your Ohio CCW
course, we will let you attend the course for half price! We want you to feel good about carrying a gun as well as your ability to shoot and handle a firearm safely. |
|||
| Q. How should I register and pay for the course? | |||
| A. You can register online. A $25 deposit is required in order to reserve a spot for you in class. | |||
